Charlotte Wood

Committee Chairperson

The Chair acts as a spokesperson for the playgroup and Chairs the meetings. They oversee the work of the committee and act as 'Nominated person' for the playgroup. The chair is also the line manager for the setting manager.

About Charlotte...

I live in Ashwellthorpe, and my eldest son started at Bramble Bears as soon as he turned 2 and absolutely loves it! My younger son will be joining too in a few months’ time. I started as Chair in June 2025 and am enjoying learning more about the playgroup and supporting the team with its smooth running and evolution. It is a wonderful care setting and resource for the community providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop through play, make friendships, and build their confidence in the world. Please do reach out to me if you want to discuss anything about the playgroup or if you’re interested in becoming part of the committee – we’d love to have more parents join us.

Bianca Moller

Treasurer

The treasurer is responsible for overseeing the finances of the playgroup alongside the accountant, managing the bank account, payroll, and budgets. They ensure the committee is informed as to the financial position of the group. The treasurer is responsible for arranging for the annual accounts to be checked independently.

About Bianca....

I live on a farm with my two children, cows and dog. I’m a friendly, easygoing person who’s always happy to have a chat or offer support whenever it’s needed. My eldest went to Bramble Bears from the age of 2, and my youngest is happily there now. They make being away from home such a positive and fun experience, really taking the time to get to know each child as an individual with a kind and caring approach. It’s been lovely to see how they help build confidence and prepare the children for starting school.

About Kat...

Hi I’m Kat, my daughter started Bramble Bears in 2023 when she was 2, the staff were very welcoming and she settled quickly. She soon made some lovely friends, she thoroughly enjoyed her days at Bramble Bears. Roll on 2 years and my son now attends the preschool, having lots of fun playing, painting, dressing up, playing outside and his favourite, dancing, he comes out telling me all about his day! Its a lovely preschool, a warm welcoming setting, providing stimulated play and building confidence, plus the staff are absolutely brilliant. I’ve really enjoyed being on the committee and having an insight into how Bramble Bears is run.
